    Roundabout

     view description
    • "Roundabout" is a fun drill for quick reaction and speed.

The player begins at the baseline with her back away from the net. Two cones (different colours) are placed just inside the baseline, about 6 feet apart.
The coach is at the service line, facing the player, and holding a ball in his hands.

The coach will toss the ball and at the same time will call a colour - the player must turn around, circle the cone of respective colour, then quickly catch the ball before it stops bouncing.
