Lesson 34:
Arm Strength Explanation
Arm strength is not the most important component to being a successful throwing catcher but it definitely helps. There are catchers that don't have the elite level release times but still have elite level pop times because their arm strength (the high velocity of their throws) makes up time for their slow release.
When you can combine a quick release with plus arm strength, that's when you have an elite level thrower. Point being, work on your arm strength as much as you work on your technique.
