Back & Scapula - Band Resisted Scapular Retraction w/ Footwork
A couple keys to proper throwing technique are Scapular Retraction (I call it "cocking the hammer on the gun") and having a "strong" front side/arm.
A great drill/exercise is the Band Resisted Scapular Retraction w/ Footwork. It includes utilizing proper footwork while also performing the hand separation taking the arms to throwing position against the resistance of an exercise band.
This can be performed pre-practice and/or pre-game as a warm up and muscle activation exercise.
