This is a drill that can be done with 2 or more players.
The feeder (F) stands at the baseline, ad side, having a basket of balls near by.
Players (A, B, C) line up at the opposite baseline, deuce side.
F feeds a short ball to first player in line (A). She will hit an approach shot back to F. F will return cross-court for A to hit a put-away volley to the open court. A then will run back to the end of the line.
The same pattern continues with the next player in line (B); and so on.
Players don’t play the point out; just practice an approach shot and a put-away volley.

Note: This drill can be used as a warm-up also.
