The coach (F) is just behind the service line; the player (A) begins the drill from the service line, opposite side from the coach.
The coach feeds the balls for the player to execute the following:
– 1 volley (player moves up)
– 1 groundstroke (player moves back).
The player continues the back-and-forth movement practicing volleys and groundstrokes.
The coach’s feed should be so that it lands about halfway between the service line and the net.
