One single file line of players on both sides of the court and behind the baseline. One side is the Kings' / Queens' side, the other is the Challengers’ side.
There can be a feeder to start the point or the Challengers put the ball in play.
The first player in line on the Challengers’ side will play the first player in line from the Kings’ side; singles court only.
The point starts with a “drop and hit” feed from the Challenger.
The two players play the point out.

If the Challenger wins the point, he/she will take the King’s place on the opposite side; the King moves to the end of the opposite line and becomes a Challenger.
But if the Challenger loses, he/she will go to the end of the line on his side and the King receives 1 point. If the King wins, he/she will stay and play one more point against the next Challenger in line. After he wins the next rally, he/she gets another point and then moves to the end of his respective line allowing the next King to play.
So the Kings can only play a maximum of two points if they win; then let the next King in line take their place.
Play continues in this order (only the Kings/Queens counting the points) until one player wins 7 points (accumulated when playing on the Kings’ side).
