There are two players (A and B) at the baseline playing against one single player (C), opposite side, baseline also. They all cover and play singles court only.

Drill:

The ball is put in play by either one of the doubles players.

The singles player (C) must win the point before he hits 3 shots back; otherwise, on player C’s third stroke, the doubles team (A and B) will move up to the net.

Play this way until either side wins 7 points then players can rotate one spot clockwise and play again.

Note:
This game is meant to challenge the singles player’s consistency and learning to handle the pressure of finishing the point against a high challenge.
