For this drill, the coach positions himself just inside the baseline; players line up at one of the net posts.
Drill:
The first player in line will come up to the middle of the net, tap it with his racquet then move back, ready for overheads.
The coach will feed lobs for the player to practice overheads. For every shot in, the player will get a point. The coach will continue feeding lobs until the player misses (hits the net or out).
Each player will do this drill twice and the highest score wins the game.
Note:
To avoid having players just tap the ball over the net, they should be required to hit their overheads so that the ball bounces no more than two times before it hits the back fence.
