This is a game for beginning players to improve their serve consistency while learning the scoring system of tennis.
The player begins the game serving from the right side. She gets two tries to get the serve in; if she serves the ball in, the score is 15-0. If she misses both serve attempts, it’s 0-15.
After the first point, the player will set to get the serve in from the left side having, again, two tries. And so on – the player will alternate serving from the left and right having to get the serve in out of two tries.
The game is, basically, a regular scoring set where the points are won only if the player gets the serve in (no rally taking place), or the invisible opponent wins the point (based on the player’s doubles faults).
This is a good game for beginning players especially kids to learn to keep score and mostly to build confidence considering it is easy to win it while practicing their serve.
