There is one line of players behind the baseline, on each side of the court.
The first player in one of the lines puts the ball in play with a “courtesy” feed then moves to the end of his line making room for the next player to receive the next shot.
The first player from the opposite line also hits the ball over the net and then moves out and to the end of the line; the next ball is taken by the next player in line, and so on.
The rule is that no player may hit two balls in a row. Every player will hit and move out (and to the end of the line) leaving the next player to hit the next ball.
The rally continues until one team makes an error (ball into the net, or out) – the other receives 1 point.
The first team to earn 10 points wins the game.
Variation:
– for extra work, the player who just hit the ball can run and touch one of the net posts, or the back fence.
